“In my opinion- a photographer is a monk. He is alone- a monk means mono- one, alone and in meetings others alike, we are united in monsastery.” Like his words, Gueorgui Pinkhassov’s images are also poetry- capturing the magic of accidental moments and the visual complexity of life. In this video, we went to his village to follow his journey photographing with HUAWEI P30 Pro.
"I think it’s important if you take a picture with a phone or a camera to tell small stories that are close to you,” says Bieke Deporter, one of the final-round jury member of HUAWEI NEXT-IMAGE Awards 2019. She is a Magnum Photographer- who enjoys to use the low light function of HUAWEI P30 Pro to capture interesting stories of people at night.
